The Winter Competition now enters the next phase. Draw for Monday 29 June 2009 now available.
Last week's games completed the full round of competition in Divisions 1&2. The Committee has determined that the divisions will now split into grades of four teams each and contest two complete rounds (6 further weeks of games) prior to commencing the finals series. This format will result in a tentative grand final date of 24/8/09, assuming there are no postponements due to wet weather. All teams will start with a clean slate of points in their new grades.

Regional U18's Trials for the National Youth Championships
Our Southern Suns Regional Touch Association is extending an invitation to U18 male and female Touch players to trial for selection to play in the Southern Suns representative boy's and girl's teams to compete in the National Youth Championships from 16th to 19th September 2009 at Port Macquarie. Trials will be held on Saturday 11th July at Walker Park, Yass, commencing at 10am and finishing no later than 3pm. To be eligible for the teams you must have been born in 1991 or later. If you are unable to attend the trials and wish to be considered for selection, a form must be forwarded outlining the reasons why you cannot attend. Do you have the time to become part of a Junior Touch Committee?
The Nowra Shoalhaven Touch Association wishes to form a Junior Touch Sub Committee for the purposes of administering a much needed Summer Junior Competition for the Nowra area. Interested parties would be part of, and well supported by an Association Executive & Committee already strongly in place administering senior competions both in summer and winter. In past years, the Association has run junior competitions, however the workload on existing committee members already running seniors has become prohibitive.
It is feared that if the Association cannot entice personnel to assist in this endeavour, then there is a real risk that a Junior Competition will not be viable.
