Wanted - Publicity Officer

Nowra Touch Association does not currently have a Publicity Officer, the role has been looked after by the Secretary, however due to work &study commitments can no longer fulfil this role.. Support is given to the Publicity Officer from the Committee, so it is not a role that you are left to do on your own. If any player is interested in undertaking this role, please contact the Secretary, Razz Morgan, either at the Touch Canteen or Nowra Touch Hotline 44488810 for further information.

 

REMINDERS

Team Reminders
  • All players must sign a team attendance sheet provided each week at the canteen common room area before playing. These sheets are not to be taken to the fields. Players non compliant with this requirement risk their injury insurance & not being eligible for any finals series.
  • Teams responsible for grounds & referee duties must ensure this is performed in a timely manner to get games under way.
  • Duty referees must provide their own whistle for obvious health reasons, where possible wear a white coloured shirt & obtain a game ball & score card at the canteen. You will be paired with another referee.
  • All players must ensure appropriate sports footwear is worn, including socks. Screw-in studs or cleats are not permitted & studs should be no longer than 1cm in length.
  • No jewellery should be worn. Jewellery that cannot be removed must be taped. Long fingernails are a hazard & should be trimmed or taped.

Are You Available To Referee or help out on Wednesday September 22, 2010 during school hours?

The Nowra Shoalhaven Touch Association is hosting the Nowra Primary Schools Touch Gala Day at Lyrebird Sports Park on Wednesday Sept 22, 2010. The day has been organised by the New South Wales Touch Association as a promotion of Junior Touch in the Nowra area.

We are looking for volunteers to Referee, man the canteen and generally help out on the day during school hours. New South Wales Touch will be controlling the competition. Blackest Cat is a Touch specific brand developed and owned by Touch players for the benefit of the Touch community.

Team Blackest Cat are pleased to announce that we are the official footwear partners of NSW Touch Association. Blackest Cat footwear will be available at all NSWTA events as well as being available to all affiliates and regions. "Blackest Cats footwear, at its heart, are members of the Touch community looking to financially give back to that same community. We're really excited about that fact." stated NSWTA General Manager Dean Russell.
